Hansjoerg Klausinger
Hansjoerg Klausinger, born 1953 in Vienna, is Associate Professor at the Department of Economics of the Vienna University of Economics and Business. 1980 doctorate in economics, 1990 “habilitation” with a monograph on Hayek’s and Keynes’s theories of a monetary economy; research fellowships at Harvard University 2001/02 and Duke University 2008. The main field of research is the history of 20th century economic thought (cf. e.g. “In the Wilderness”: Emigration and the Decline of the Austrian School. History of Political Economy 38, 2006). Currently he is editing volumes 7 and 8 (Business Cycles) of The Collected Works of F. A. Hayek.
